I am not in a standard 5X5 league we have fairly dynamic stat cats.

Even though he is on the Reds, is Edinson Vólquez a viable pitching fantasy option? His K/9 and WHIP are nice but the team playing behind him might not do much for his ERA and the R support for W's is lacking. If you were happy with your set up and had Aramis Ramírez riding the pine(already having Wright and Longoria), knowning he is going back to a weak cubs line up would you pull the trigger for pitching help now?

Volquez is alright for the reasons you had stated but I wouldn't pull a trigger on sending Aramis for him.

Even though Aramis is still going to be out for some time I feel you could still land a better pitcher for him. I would try to look for a trade though for him now (so he doesn't ride your bench any longer) but the fact that you have Longoria and Wright then yeah....you don't need Aramis!

If you post your full roster then it would be easier to assess what's going on also.
