I have been offered
Berkman/Pedroia/Capps
for
my Dunn/Kinsler
I am 2nd in HRs and Runs, 5th in RBI and dead last in AVG. I am 3rd in saves. I hate to trade Kinsler but if you look at he and Pedroia they are actually very similar players and Pedroia has a higher BA.

I don't think I would do this. Berkman has been terrible all year and I like Kinsler more than Pedroia. Capps has been iffy all year too and his arm scares me a bit.
Help?

Not sure I can get them but what if I was able to get Broxton or Soria instead of Capps?

Capps are does scare me, but if you can land another solid closer than i'd pull the trigger. Dunn is not going to keep up this pace.
please help

Agreed.
If he willing to offer up a better closer than Capps than I would do it.
If not I would stay put.
Thanks for the help

I wouldn't do this. I rank Dunn well over Berkman this year and although Dunn might not maintain his pace I think he continues to stay on a mini fire for the season. Also, although Kinsler has been slumping it so far he is like one of the top 2B in the league and I rank him well above Pedroia.....so I feel.....IMO.....that no matter what second had RP you have thrown in it still won't make the trade worthy of acceptance!

I assume Dunn will hit in the mid .260s by the end, which he does every 3 years (it's true check it out). But my team BA is .266 right now - Berkman is a career .300 hitter and still has a hot streak in him. I love kinsler but if you look at the last 2 years he and Pedroia are similar 20/20 players but Pedroia seems like a legit .300+ hitter and Kinsler may be less than that (although I know he hit over .300 last year). I am torn - if anyone else has thoughts I would appreciate it. I think I am in agreement that I need to get Broxton to seriously consider the deal. Don't forget that Kinsler also gets hurt every year.
