Quick/Easy 1 Word Answer! WHIR!!!

Hey all,

Real quick question. A guy in my 12 Team Roto league proposed a trade to me that involved Chipper Jones (His Tex/Billingsly for my Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up)

He wants to make the trade because he needs a 3B (He has G.Atkins right now) I have Jorge Cantu, Chipper and Hank Blalock that can play the 3B spot (as well as Inge and M.Young but they are filling my C and SS spots)

I just want to know who will be better from here on out: Chipper or Cantu (Which one would you trade in the deal?)

* I can't trade him Blalock because he is the one that dropped him to the WW.

Just 1 word answer on who is your choice to keep out of Chipper or Cantu.

I'd go with Cantu. I like Chipper more, the only problem is him staying healthy. When he is healthy the guy can straight rake.

Hahahahahaha.....ok......so you all are killing me here!!! Let's make this now a more than 1 word answer and any explanation on why one or the other? I have 2 for Chipper and 2 for Cantu! Are you all just Fing with me since I stated the 1 and 1 deal or are you being serious?

On a side note.....the thing with Chipper is that he himself states he might want to go to the DL because of his injury so you have that negative although he hits and has hit his career in Beast mode!

With Cantu.....his past short seasons have been less than steller but he started this season off great but slumped the whole month of May!

That is my take on both leaving me with a split decision doesn't help me all so anyone with real insight would be great. Thanks!

i'd rather have chipper at 3b, but he's an injury risk and cantu is a little more reliable. That being said, I'd pull the trigger on the TEX/Bills deal in a heartbeat.

the drop off between cantu and chipper is not as big as the upgrade to tex and bills

I posted a couple other offers to him to see what he thought first and if he doesn't like them then I will most likely go with the offer he posted (His Tex/Bills for My Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up)

The other offers I tried are:

My Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up for His Tex/Bills/Wieters
My Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up/Inge for His Tex/Bills/Wieters/Adam Jones
My Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up/Inge for His Tex/Bills/Wieters/B.Abreu

We'll see what happens but I agree with you about Cantu being reliable. Since I don't have a backup Catcher than Inge couldn't play 3B and since I don't have a backup SS then M.Young can't play 3B and since the only other 3B possibility would be H.Blalock but he might sit here and there (depending on the C.Davis status)!

so.....anymore insight would be great if I need to replace these offers with Cantu instead or stick with what I proposed and go with the straight (Morneau/Chipper/BJ Up for Tex/Bills) if he rejects those?
