Which one of these two players is more likely to turn it around after a poor start?

Would you trade my Quentin for Ichiro? Or just keep Quentin.

3rd: Davis
SS: Hanley Ramirez
CI: Helton

LOL!!!

Ichiro is washed up and will basically be a Polanco this year. Great average and nothing else.

I predict 60 runs, 25 RBI and 15-17 SB this year. His team blows and he is too old now.

Quentin on the otherhand is a superstud. He will end up mashing 40(+) homers and end up with around 120 RBI and maybe 20 SB.

No comparison Quentin is gold and Ichiro is trash this year.

I hate Quentin, he's overrated and one the most injury prone players this year. That being said, i think the upside Quentin brings compared to Ichiro is higher.

if you need SBs and Avg - go Ichiro
if you need anything else - take a chance on Quentin

washed up??? ha ok buddy. All those numbers you quote have nothing to do with his performance, he is currently hitting .358 with a 25 game hit streak and a hand full of HR thrown in (3 less than Quentin). The team around him is under performing but Ichiro is no where near washed up. I'm not saying Ichiro has more value than Quentin but he is no where near Polanco. give me a break. :-t

lol, strong ignorance in this post.

Ichiro is actually having a pretty decent year so far. And Seattle blows? Has Ichiro ever played on a Seattle team that didn't suck? (albeit 1 -2 seasons) Ichiro is very useful for hitting cats, avg, steals.

I like Quentin too, but he is on the DL right now. He does have a history of injury problems, and this season is looking no different. So, get off his jock, brah.

bump.

Our league counts Hits, Runs, RBI, HR, SB, AVG, and OBP

I am actually in first with HRs so take that out of the equation.

SB, AVG, and OBP will go to ichiro- but then again most players with speed will have an advantage over Quentin in those categories.

My main worry is number of Runs and RBI for Ichiro, what do you predict his Runs and RBI numbers will look like by the end of the season? He has to produce better than this right?

I personally would take Ichiro. More consistent numbers and you could use the speed and avg over the power. So I say go for it.
