go to your thread, copy the URL, and then paste it in your posts

i like cain though, he's been a Quality Start machine and good in every catagory except W's. Plus there's talk of Cain getting traded to a contender.
i know kinsler is legit, but he's also pretty injury prone. I see Kinsler putting up similar numbers to phillips for the rest of the year (a bit better than phillips). is it even worth going after Kinsler?

anymore thoughts?

I would stick with what you have Phillips is a very good 2B option why weaken your SP staff for something you really do not need?

bigjay, just go to the URL address bar of the thread you posted and do a copy/paste, then when you're responding to other people's messages and want help in return, paste it into your new message.

Re. the trade:
I also like the idea of just doing Phillips/Lackey for Kinsler, but if that doesn't get it done, then offering J-Up in a package deal and having him include Holliday is fine, too. I expect Holliday to be traded to a contender later this year which will really boost his value. No guarantees there, but Billy Beane isn't shy about making big trades and Oakland needs to do something there... so whether you give up J-Up or Soriano, you should end up making out OK.

I am in the minority, but I like Phillips a lot more than above posters, especially if you have to add the SP's you are talking about. IMO, guys like Lackey (whom I like more than most), Burnett, Cain, etc. are worth more than the upgrade from Phillips to Kinsler, and if you look, Phillips looks like he is healthy and is on a tear. Hope this helps.

Thanks for help on mine. Could you please answer following: I just used Lowe in another trade - should I give Garza or Lester for Figgins (or neither one)? Thanks again!

Thanks for the help!

Yeah, don't love giving up Lackey, but I do like you trying to upgrade at OF. I don't think there's a HUGE difference between Kinsler and Phillips, so since you are giving up a decent starter too, it'd be nice to upgrade the OF.

Any chance he takes Dunn instead of Soriano along with Phillips and Burnett for Holliday and Kinsler?

I don't like this deal at all. I love Phillips - he's been great all year (when healthy, and he looks strong now). Soriano and Holliday are both streaky. I like Soriano more. So why give them up, I say.

Help with mine?
