Sizemore is on DL, and I am looking to pick him up on a cheaper side. I thought about Holliday, but I am evening looking if I can scoop otherwise. I like Holliday to get traded to contender and play very motivated ball.

Honestly, I can't really imagine any trade scenario not involving you giving up Holliday. You dont want to give up Braun, or Beltran and clearly he needs a good/decent replacement. Same with pitching .... you both have like an ace or 2 .. but not many 2 -3 types, imo. Hard to make a trade here in my opinion, but I think Holliday is where you'd have to go.
He could use help at SP, as well as 2B or Util. You have 3 bonafied aces between Santana, Peavy, and Verlander, so I think you can make something happen there. I'd offer up Verlander - he's been great this season, but I trust him less than Santana (obviously) or Peavy.
Then maybe try to throw in DeRosa - not a huge upgrade, but I'd certainly prefer him over Kelly Johnson if I'm the other guy.
You can try Verlander+someone, but I seriously doubt the other guy is going to trade a first rounder in a deep keeper league for that. Maybe he is frustrated enough to sell low, but it would be a reach. Holliday and someone might get it done, but if the other guy is thinking long term, he would have to be somewhat foolish to do it. I tend to agree with the comment that I do not see much of a match here.
You may have to use Holliday but I would make many attempts with a pitcher and a mediocre bat first. It all depends on the way your trading partner view the game.
I think you're probably going to have to give up Holliday in a trade for Sizemore, especially in a competitive keeper league. Btw, you have a very good team considering its a 14 team league.
Also, thanks for the help on mine. I actually agree with your response and am going to keep CC.
Try throwing him some bait and go after Pujols. Offer him Verlander/Peavy and Aramis for Pujols. Throw Miguel at 3rd and Pujols at first and put atkins in your Util. Don't listen to the clown who said atkins will give you nothing. He's back in cleanup. Remember how he started last year and then tore it up?! Same thing will happen this year! Half his games are playing in Colorado! Plus he has Chipper who is on a MAJOR decline! Try it and see what happens.
