A good idea to start SP's facing each other?

Postby Salty-Dog » Sun May 31, 2009 10:15 pm

I have Joba and Garza on my team, I was wondering if I should start Garza this week. He's facing the Yanks and Joba (I'm def starting JOba cuz he has 2 starts).

Is it make sense to start Garza? I would put Scott Richmond or Josh Outman instead.

thanks

i'd always start garza. with the two facing each other, you know you'll get a win. (fingers crossed that there's not a no decision)

Unless your penalized heavily for a loss, no reason not to.

5 points for a loss

i should have been specific, it's a H2H points league - so seems not wise to start both - possible to get a loss (-5 pts) which would negate the win (+7 pts) - as of now, I am sitting Garza.... :-o

Joba's not as good as Garza. Doesn't matter if he has two starts. He could get you -10 per start.
