Traded V-Mart for Jermaine Dye straight up. I used my #1 waiver on Wieters, so he'll be my starting catcher starting Tuesday. Think that this helps my team out quite a bit power-wise, and while I do loose a bit of AVG, I gain RBI's and think that this helps balance my team out a lot. My team's below, leave a link and I'll return the favor!!
C - Matt Wieters (Bal - C) 1B - Adrian Gonzalez (SD - 1B) 2B - Ian Kinsler (Tex - 2B) 3B - Ryan Zimmerman (Was - 3B) SS - Stephen Drew (Ari - SS) OF - Hunter Pence (Hou - OF) OF -Brad Hawpe (Col - OF) OF - Jermaine Dye (CWS - OF) Util - Justin Upton (Ari - OF) BN - Corey Hart (Mil - OF) BN - Jim Thome (CWS - Util)
SP - Gil Meche (KC - SP) SP - Chad Billingsley (LAD - SP) SP - Dan Haren (Ari - SP) RP - Ronald Bellisario (LAD - RP) RP - Francisco Cordero (Cin - CL) RP - Ryan Franklin (StL - RP) P - Dan Wheeler (TB - RP) P - Fernando Rodney (Det - RP) P - Kyle McClellan (StL - RP) BN - Erik Bedard (Sea - SP) BN - Daisuke Matsuzaka (Bos - SP) BN - Paul Maholm (Pit - SP) DL - Jose Valverde (Hou - CL)
I mostly like this deal for you, given that you were able to land Wieters. However, he's got to produce at a level close to Martinez for the rest of the year for this to have been a really smart move. I think you might, might have been able to get a bit more for a top-3 fantasy catcher than just a pretty good journeyman outfielder..... Still, you didn't get ripped off as Dye can still contribute good power.........

Dye helps your team and you'll probably benefit, but as Eric says, you could have gotten more. VMart is hitting very very well at one of the most scarce positions in fantasy baseball. I'm sure there is a team or two really hurting behind the plate and will OVERPAY to make sure they get that consistent production.
