i think you have to counter asking for a better OF than burrell. since you're getting izzy and perkins whom you probably don't want, i think he can do better than burrell. thanks for helping me.

He offered Hideki Matsui or Melky Cabrera instead of Burrell, but I'd rather have Burrell. I think he will return to form somewhat.

And I asked for Izzy and Perkins, knowing he'd toss them away; just as a sign of how bad my pitching has been, I asked for those players.

Note on pitching- AL Only league where I thought I could go with 1 ace and 1 medium level good pitcher, and then other guys with potential (got Porcello): for those two roles, I went with Francisco Liriano and Chien-Ming Wang. I thought my pitching would be average to slightly below, but I have the best offense in the league. With those two anchors, I need pitching.

I don't like any of those trades for you. You are way overpaying for Halladay. I view Izzy, Perkins and even Burrell as mostly throw-ins. You are giving up two elite hitters for one premium pitcher and a bunch of journeymen. If your pitching has been this bad, how much is Halladay alone really going to impact your stats? If you're giving up Mauer and Cabrera, then he needs to be sending back to you (in addition to Halladay) a really good #2 SP and/or an elite closer and/or a second tier hitter (not a fourth tier guy like Burrell)......

seems like you are paying too much - why don't you see what the price is for Santana, Lincecum, Bills or one of the other top dogs - I would hope that you can find a better deal than this.

Those are all awful trades. Mauer alone should be able to net you a top SP. Catcher is very thin and Mauer is crushing the ball.

Help please
