I pulled off a minor trade in my league. I've fallen in love with Randy Wells, so I just had to have him.

I get: Randy Wells

I give: Yunel Escobar

Yunel was currently backing up the suddenly hot Alexei Ramirez as the shortstop on my team, and for depth, I have Ben Zobrist and Jerry Hairston, Jr. Knowing this, I felt that Escobar was more than expendable.

So, your thoughts?

with your depth at SS, i like the deal for you. if you need a solid pitcher in the next several weeks, he seems like a great option. however, when harden comes back, i'm not sure if wells will keep a rotation spot. i'm sure you already weighed that in your decision. harden could be out a while though it seems.
