the hitting part is solved, but we are trying to come to an agreement on the pitchers. I am quite in front on the hitting, so here is where it should even out. Which seems the best (for both sides)? We are a keeper league, 12 allowed.
Floyd for Myers
Zimmerman for Myers + waiver
Floyd and Richmond for Myers and Wilson/Lidge + waiver
Floyd and Zimmerman for Myers and Joba + waiver
You can wiggle these around if you think you can make it better!!
If we're talking about Bret Myers here, I'm assuming you guys realize that he's probably going to miss the rest of the season...?
From RotoTimes: Brett Myers has been officially placed on the 15-day DL, according to TSN. Myers will likely miss the remainder of the regular season as he needs surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be the team getting Myers.........

that's the one. I am getting rid of a crappy second baseman for a top one, and I have not started Floyd this year, which is why I thought it would be okay.
woowoo crew wrote:i don't see how myers can be included in any deal, if it's brett myers that is. he's likely done for the year. what are the other options?
there are no other options. I have to take Myers to make the deal, getting Hudson for Bonifacio and since I don't use Floyd, thought it would be ok. If myers comes back, fine, also could keep him for next year, or drop him. That is why the deals with the waivers are more important to me.
Originally he asked for McLouth, but the negative feedback here and elsewhere caused me to pull that back.
okay, i understand now... the guy wants to give you myers. getting hudson is an upgrade for you, so if you don't use floyd, then trade him. i wouldn't trade 2 guys... just floyd.

the second guy is for a waiver pick, which I could desperately use. Some good SPs on out waiver wire....

I just re-checked his offers, and Zimmerman by hiself does NOT get a waiver pick included. So all 3 pitchers carry the same value to him.
So I guess now the question is which one to send for one, and which ones for two + waiver pick.
I am fairly certain Floyd will be the one, who is # 2???
If getting a waiver is important, then I would try the Floyd and Richmond for Myers, Lidge and waiver deal. I wouldn't get rid of Zimmerman unless you have Arod, Wright or Longoria as 3B. But if you're using Zimmerman as just an IF spot, then maybe you have more IF to go around and can afford to get rid of him.
