What does anybody know about this guy? Does anybody know a lot of info on him, im thinking of picking him in like the 11th round or so in my ten team draft. Can anybody tell me a little more about him.

11th round? Id look for him later. He went undrafted in my draft, but that was a mistake. He should be going in later rounds, unless somebody really wants him. He is my starting catcher, but thats just cause I got chipper for pierzynski and bernie.

He will hit this year, probably not for much power. Look for something like .300/10/65 from him. Be pleasantly surprised if he gets more.

In a 10 team league I don't think Mauer should be drafted at all, let alone in the 11th round. That's way too early. I don't think he'll be among the 10 best catchers, so unless it's a dynasty league, or a keeper where you keep enough players to make Mauer good enough to keep, I would leave him alone. In the 11th round you should be able to get somebody like Kendall or Varitek for a 10 team league. Guys like Castro and Molina could easily out-perform Mauer this year and are almost always undrafted, even in 18 team leagues (mine at least). You can do much better than that.
