Carpenter is way to good to be giving up for that little get a better SP or a bigger bat in that trade.

So you don't even like this deal ?

I GIVE - Reynolds/Carpenter/Wells
I GET - Chipper/Ludwick/B.Wilson

Seems even to me. Chipper and Carpenter are both injurie risks.

Yeah I think so, I like your team a lot how it is. I wouldn't mess anything up.

Am I the only one that thinks Carpenter is overrated, due mainly to his injury concerns, but if you could get Chipper/Ludwick and Nathan that would be great.

help with mine?

I just made the trade folks! No turning back now.

Gave up Reynolds/Carpenter/Wells
Got back Chipper/Ludwick/B.Wilson

Thanks for all of the feedback...

Now here is my take on the trade. Didn't want to post it before because it might have influenced your comments.

1) Chipper/Carpenter are both similar players. High upside, but high injury risk. If he stays health, I think upgrading from Reynolds to Chipper at my CI slot will be a HUGE batting avg boost.

2) Reynolds/Wilson are simlar in value. After I lost Morrow and then Percival I really felt like I needed to trade for another closer. Now I have 3 again (Broxton, Qualls and Wilson) which should be enough to keep me near the top in a 10 team league.

3) Ludwick/Wells - I like Ludwick quite a bit more then Wells. He has just as many hrs, even after missing about a month. Worst case scenerio they will be a wash in batting avg., but I'm confident Ludwick will outperform Wells in hrs/rbis. This was probably what sealed the deal for me.
