I would hold onto him, while you have a ton of pitchers none of them are as good as Liriano can be when he's on. I would maybe bench him until he turns it around. On the other hand, Ortiz is somebody you could probably get away with dropping, as bad as he is right now there's bound to be something better on the WW

Ummmm....Thanks for the reply but did you read the post? I don't have Ortiz....he is on the WW and it's would most likely be a cold day in you know where before I picked his washed up butt up!

I'd give him more time personally (and I have him on my team in a 10 team league). I don't know if you watched the game today, but Liriano really got screwed by his defense. There was a play in which the ball was hit to SS and the guy just didn't throw it anywhere. It didn't count as an error, but should have as he could have easily thrown it and gotten an out. It would have prevented 2 of the 4 runs the Rays scored in the 3rd inning.

He's becoming more of a pitch-to-contact pitcher, and it really hurt him today as the defense just sucked.

I would honestly give him another start or two.

You have a TON of closers, I'd drop Aarsdma or your worst closer for Hairston. He might not be the MOST valuable FA there, but the guy is raking and playing everyday. When he's on he gathers SB and homers in bunches. It would really hlep your team to insert him at SS. I think he's an upgrade over Marco, personally and it would give you some insurance at 3b. I'd try to move Uggla for another SP.

If you want a anotehr SP, which Ithink you could use....

consider dealing an OF and a 2b for a SS upgrade then grab Hanson with your free spot.

I'd try to upgrade at 3b or SS if you can.

Hanley is a little bit lower in value right now.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

Ok then....since the concensus is to grab him, keep him, etc... then he is available in a different league I have. Any thoughts on who to drop for him in the other league? (Team listed below)

Thanks and WHIR!!!

Thanks MDog.....I do have a couple of questions though. I really don't want to drop a Closer just because I think my worse Closer is Aardsma and he has been killing the Saves! Any other Closer and I really couldn't do it.....I feel 4 RP's will get the Saves guaranteed almost every week so....

As far as trading an OF and a 2B (Uggla)....well, I am kind of short on OF's as it is.....I have Lind as my only backup and if I trade him and Uggla then I wouldn't have a Util fill. (Scutaro would be the fill but like you said, we are trying to get him out of the starting lineup)

I could try and trade Scutaro and Lind but that wouldn't land me Hanley (I don't think) and also, if I was to grab Hanson then that would give me an over abundance of Pitchers (5 on the bench) so what do you really suggest I do here in this situation?

I would like to trade some Sp's added with a Scutaro or Uggla type for a nice SS and OF or an upgrade at SP and a nice SS but not sure who I would target and who I would drop.

Any Ideas? Thanks again.....just soooooooooooooooo confusing!...lol
