Good 5 innings today, but at 19 pitches an inning with just a 1.20 WHIP for the day he needs to work on pitch efficiency and stop throwing so many pitches per batter. IF not he's going to lose some wins when the bullpen gives up leads in the 6th inning or later.

I'm surprised that at 96 pitches they sent him back out to start the 6th. I guess they're not being too careful with his pitch count.

he absolutely owned M. Cuddyer and D.Young today. Combined 0/6 with 6K.

Overall a good day. He even hit 98mph on the last pitch to D. Young (strikeout). Only problem was he took a few 0-2 counts to 3-2.

I thought he was sent down to AAA to work on controlling his pitch count. In the one league I have him I can take hits in ERA and WHIP so I'll keep sending him out in hopes of a K per inning. But with that pen he isn't a good option for wins.
