I wouldn't say under the radar. BA has him as the Padres 2nd best prospect. You can't expect a prospect to be noticed by mainstream sports sites unless BA considers them top 20ish or they get called up. It's just not how they do things.
But I like Latos, I'm excited to see how he does over the long run in AA.

I wouldn't say Latos is under the radar. He has been around for a couple years now, and there is no Boston/New York hype regarding prospects.

hes finally health for the first time and showing his promise, an actual minor leaguer in the Padres system who is worth monitoring

If he was on Boston or New York he would have P Hughes hype.
So true, but the irony of this is since he is a Padre you expect him to put up better numbers at the major league level than he would if he was a Yankee or a Red Sock.
