I am currently last in saves and can make up a like 3 points fast if I make this deal.

The only issues is that Brian Wilson is very close to losing his job, and then you are stuck giving up a decent pitcher for garbage, if you are looking for long term help I would stay away from Brandon Morrow, Lanahan, and Devil Rays closers, George Sherrill, Brian Wilson, and possibly Rodney, Capps, or Gregg.

A good pitcher to look at that may cost you Garza is Chad Qualls

help with mine?

Wilson is close to losing his job? Really? Thats good to know. Any idea who could replace him? I don't follow the NL west much, but have him on my fantasy team.

Don't worry about making up 3 points "fast". Make up 3 points for good.

Without knowing exactly what kind of league you're in, I'd say your starting pitching is relatively solid...with or without Wandy. (you've got Billingsley, Chamberlain, Gallardo, Jackson, Hamels) The only other guy that you've got that's going to get you some saves is Valverde, and he's on the shelf.

Saying that Wilson is "close to losing his job" is the same as saying that "he's close to keeping his job"
If Wilson loses his closer job, it'll go to Jeremy Affeldt....and then Affeldt will be close to losing his job to Wilson.

If I were you, I'd trade Rodriguez for Wilson and I'd feel good about it.

I don't see Wilson losing his job. He's blown 3 saves, but his stats really aren't that bad. I also scoured rotoworld.com and didn't even see a hint of speculation about him losing the job.

That said, you probably are selling Wandy a bit low. It wouldn't be a terrible trade to make, if no one else is willing to trade you a slightly better closer. Based on value, I feel like you should be able to land a Jenks type with Wandy.

Help with mine plz. I'm also thinking of trading for Wilson - viewtopic.php?t=387665

Knowing your categories would be really, really nice. How many SP do you start, etc.? I'm leaning towards yes, but if you have many pitching categories and saves are just one of them, you could definitely find some better long-term relief.
