Soria is due back soon . I am in last place in saves and can't lose anymore points. I thought I would trade Soria and load up on starters. Who are some of the starters I should be able to get in trade of Soria. Of course assuming he is healthy. I won't trade him until I see him pitch. 5x5 standard scoring.12 team keeper.

That's the thing though, his healthy is a question mark at this point so your not going to get full value for him. What are you will to sell him for? 60/70 cents on the dollar?

I agree if you're looking for pitching it's worth a shot. Maybe wait til he comes of the dl in order to get more value for him.
Can you check out mine?

I'm a Soria owner trying to gauge his trade value, too (right now I'm waiting for an owner to hit "accept" on my Soria/Gamel-for-Zobrist trade him, btw but he hasn't pulled the trigger).
As far as a starter, you're probably going to be able to land someone like Derek Lowe, Edwin Jackson, maybe Danks... someone in that middle tier of quality pitchers who are not quite dominant. Of course many pitchers in that group have solid upside to make the jump to the next level.
Could you try and deal him for someone like Nolasco, who will probably turn his season around once he comes back from the minors? (Depends how much patience you have to wait for Nolasco, probably). Otherwise, maybe you could get someone like Cain or Lilly? I'm just throwing some names out there to generate ideas. If you go for an Top 25 type pitcher, maybe you could sweeten the deal by throwing a solid hitter in there with Soria.

I would bnot trade Soria straight up for Zobrist. And adding Gamel is too much in my mind.
I am not forced into trading Soria. He will be my only closer when he comes off the DL. I really don't need saves anymore. Too far back and can't lose anymore points.
I already own Lilly but thanks for the ideas.

I have been offered three different trades for Soria.
Porcello for Soria
Scherzer for Soria
Smoltz and Jordan Zimmerman for Soria
I almost grabbed Porcello but he got to him before I did as a DL replacement. I like this kid .He'll get run support.
I also like Scherzer but I don't like the team he plays on. Runs will be too hard to come by.
This manager also has Wainwright but I doubt he parts with him for Soria.
I also have him involved in a trade offer to another manager that owns Dempster.
Thoughts on these three offers?

See what happens with the Dempster trade. I think Wainwright would be a legit trade for Soria as well, I'd put it out there. Maybe also look at Harang. I like the Cain idea, as well. You could also buy low on like an Ervin Santana.

I was sent an email sort of offer for oria. he offered me Hoffman and O. Hudson for Soria and Jerry Hairston. I asked him for Josh Johnson instead of Hoffman.
I doubt he will move Johnson
I also wrote back the manager that made the three offers and asked him for Wainwright but with drew the offer when the other email offer came in.
He wrote back and said he would follow Soria this week to see how he does. I ill har from the Hoffman / Johnson owner in the morning.
Think I should go back after Wainwright?
Or take the Hudson/ Hoffman offer? That would help my offense in batting averge. And Hoffan has been lights out. he might be easier to trade then Soria.
Thoughts?
