I was also getting concerned, until I realized he is leading my team in Runs, and second to only Fielder in RBI's for the season.

Yeah I think he had a really nasty slump last year too around this time, but it was after I'd traded him away.

Interesting that, despite the slump, Markakis is right about where we all expected him to be... and still exceeding expectations in RBIs and R.

On pace for .300, 22 HR, 129 RBI, 123 R, 3 SB
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.

I'm not sure about you but I was expecting double digit SB and so far he's only made 2 attempts. Also the only reason he's on pace for .300 is that he scorched the ball for most of April. He under .240 over the last month. However, like I said before, if you look at his 2008 splits they're very similar for the month of May. I guess he phones it in during the month of May.
