It's close, but I think I'd do it. Kinsler was on fire and he'll relight the fire soon. You'll have more speed now with Kinsler and Granderson and I'm high on Scherzer. He's got some nasty stuff, I just wish he had more run support. Granderson will have minislumps here and there, but he's a rare breed...Powerhitting leadoff with speed. He's been given more green lights to steal as well. Utley is sweet and multiplayer deals are tricky, but you'll win overall. Thanks for helping me.
It's a tough call but I don't do it for three reasons. First because I never like giving up two pitchers and only getting one in return unless it is an absolute upgrade but I don't think Dice-K is a significant upgrade to your rotation. Second because I like Jeter better than Bartlett. Jeter is a very solid player and I don't think Bartlett keeps putting up those numbers once he gets back from the DL. Third your OF is solid and has some depth I don't think you need Granderson.
Sorry I missed out on the initial one you asked for help on, figured I'd do some catching up and give you my two cents here. I love this trade for you. I think Kinsler is flat out, the best 2B in fantasy. His speed puts him on an entirely different level from Utley IMO. I think Dice K ends the season as a better pitcher or at least on an even plane as either guy you give up, and since your pitching is already strong, I think you can absorb the hit you take. Im not a Jeter guy and I think Bartlett is still a good option although his power and RBI obviously WILL NOT be sustained. Granderson is just a huge bonus for you IMO.
Yes, my friend, pull that trigger. Getting Granderson was the kicker for me, I think he will come around quick in the second half of the season. Plus, the second half of the trade has more upside on your side. Do that and enjoy the fruits.
