FAAB Setup Help

Postby BALCO All-Stars » Thu May 28, 2009 3:27 pm

My 10 team NL-only auction league is thinking about switching to a FAAB system next year (instead of a free agent pickup system with static $10 contracts). Can anyone point me in a direction to help point out the ins and outs of FAAB? Thanks.

We use the FAAB in our leagues and it works with no flaws. We use CBS Sports which is a great service. It is no work for the Commish. You run it on the days you choose. Everybody bids on who they want and it automatically selects the winner. Even the Commish can not tell who is bidding on who. It is 100% secret. It works great.

What if I don't win any of my claims for the week? Is the claims process only once a week (i.e. I'm stuck for another week)?

You can run the FAAB on any day you want. You can do it everyday, twice a week, when ever you want. You just check the days you want it at the start of the season and let it go.
