SS Help?

Postby b2thel » Thu May 28, 2009 9:54 am

Hi, I currently have Furcal & Cabrera on my roster and some guy just released Bartlett. We have pretty small rosters so I can't just really stash him and keep both of the other guys. Should I drop Furcal, who has done nothing? Or do you see Bartlett not continuing his amazing numbers? Any advice is appreciated. This is my first year playing fantasy baseball, so I'm kind of learning as I go. :)

Just read that Bartlett will be out for the minimal amount of time. Caberera to me is borderline waiver wire material and I would rather have Furcal for two weeks while I wait for Bartlett to return.

Just my Opinion

Thanks. Yeah it sounds like he will only be out for 2 weeks. Maybe our scoring system is different, but Cabrera is the 4th highest scoring SS right now. Plus, with our limited rotsters, I like the fact that he is listed as a SS & 2B so I can play him at either position. I already have Aramis Ramirez using up my 1 DL spot, otherwise I could just stash him there.

A_Cab has proven to me that he is a serviceable MI to say the least. I liked what I saw from him last season too. I would take him over Furcal in any league.
