Bedard/Chamberlain/Kemp for Roberts/Hamilton

Can you guys give me your thoughts on this one? At the moment this is a 10 man mixed league where i'm at the bottom of the pack in the hitting categories more or less (i.e. i got a 2 in R / HR / RBI, while at the moment I have 10's in ERA / WHIP.)

Hitting Categories: R / HR / RBI / SB / K / E
Pitching Categories: W / S / K / ERA / WHIP

Team:
C - Rod Barajas
1B - Lance Berkman
2B - Alexei Ramirez
SS - Troy Tulowitzki
3B - Hank Blalock
IF - Joey Votto
OF - Grady Sizemore
OF - Ryan Braun
OF - Carl Crawford
UTIL - Matt Kemp
BN - Gary Sheffield, Nick Johnson, Pablo Sandoval
DL - Aramis Ramirez

SP - Dan Haren, Josh Johnson, Erik Bedard, Joba Chamberlain, Kevin Slowey, Chris Volstad & Ubaldo Jimenez
RP - John Broxton, Frank Fransisco, David Aardsma, Juan Cruz & Jason Isringhausen

So my thought on the matter at the moment is I need to acquire some bats that will help me increase those categories. This is why I was going to propose trading Erik Bedard, Joba Chamberlain & Matt Kemp to one of the other owners for his Brian Roberts and Josh Hamilton. If the trade would go through I would end up moving Alexei down to the SS position, plugging in Brian Roberts at second and plugging in Josh Hamilton at the UTIL spot.

Can you guys let me know if this trade would really be beneficial to me? or should I be targetting some other players?

Some other things I was thinking of doing just so you know my mindset...I was going to drop Rod Barajas for Kelvim Escobar to reinforce my pitching if I end up trading these guys away as well as dropping Hank Blalock for Wieters on Friday when he comes up (got the #2 Waiver Priority in the league) which would let me plug Pablo Sandoval into 3rd temporarily.

Thanks in advance and I will try to respond to your posts when I get home from work. :-)

I would do this trade in a heartbeat. I just do not think it will be excepted. Good luck.

I would do this trade also. You also have to expect Berkman to pick up his BA and that could help also in the standings.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect the other manager to go for the Hamilton deal, unless he is frustrated with the recurrent injury problems.

I support the latter mentioned moves, but I'd imagine you won't get Weiters....unless the guy with the number 1 priority has McCann and Martin and is retarded.

I would really try to package away Tulo. I don't seem him turning this around.

Thanks for the help on my Votto/Fielder issue.
