As always, any help is appreciated...

Simple: My Beltran for his Reyes? I would then try and deal Drew or Escobar plus a SP like Haren in a few weeks for an upgrade at 3B or OF.

I would definitely do this. You are getting a top 5 fantasy player in return for a hurting(well they are both hurting) ;-D , although very good, second round talent. Go for it and grab Reyes.

I wouldn't do it! Beltran is having a solid year, and Reyes has yet to get started and might not. His injury couldn't prevent him from stealing bases this season, and would diminish his 1st rd value completely.
