I think I've found the best way to make people think you are busy all day long.
Look really really pissed off and stressed.
The nature of my job is that I now have projects and many times they actually make me stressed and angry. However, when I'm done I can spend time doing things like Dan Lambskins mom.
Anyways I've found the best way to look busy is to be angry or mad looking. It's great someone just asked me if "I was alright." Because I was grabbing my forehead while staring at my computer screen.
Anyone else use this strategery?
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

That strategy only works if you actually have face time with your boss. Email and intranets have made many things in my profession electronic.

I always look pissed off at work, mostly because I manage a bunch of idiots!!
It definetly makes me look busy, and gets me bugged less often.
