Two offers for my closers!(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Wed May 27, 2009 1:25 pm

AL only league, 10 teams, 23 man rosters, 7 keepers per year with 3 year contracts, 5x5 roto style

I am currently in third place and leading the league in saves. I have been offered the following:

His Delmon Young and Darren O'Day for my Scott Downs

or I have been offered:

His Kevin Millwood and Glen Perkins for my Frank Francisco.

I am leaning towards no on both of these but just wanted to get some advice first. What do you guys think?

I am not too impressed with either of those trades. Not familiar with O'Day so I'm not totally sure on that one but Millwood has definitely slowed down so I wouldn't accept #2 either (although I like Perkins, not worth Fransisco).
Thanks for the help!

Yuck... I wouldn't consider either offer. You can get more for either one of those guys.

Help please

I'd also decline both of those deals. I think that you can do better for both of your Closers than what he's offer.

help on mine?

I just declined both offers and now got this offer:

His John Lackey for my Frank Francisco. What do you think? This is good value but not sure I can afford to lose my top closer. Thanks and leave your links.

Sounding like a broken record. I think you could do better. Francisco is worth more than what would be traded.
