Thome or Sheffield?

Postby Fantstud » Mon Mar 15, 2004 10:17 am

1st round pick in a Keeper league.

I'm leaning toward Thome today.

Big reason why is because I need to start 2guys at 1b in my league.

Players kept already are all the big guns at 1st base except

I have the first pick in my draft. If I don't take Thome I'll be stuck with Sweeney As my #1 1st basemen

It's a toss-up. no matter who have between Thome, Sheff, and Sweeney, you're gonna have an injured player. Just go with your guy feeling on this one.

Take Thome easily. He's essentially Todd Helton without the average, but he makes up for it with huge power numbers. And he's still got some years in him.

Sheff could be out for 3 months at some point, so he's a big risk. Thome should be ready for the start of the season. I'd go with Thome. And he's my pick for NL MVP. Mark it down!
