Do I Want CC or Beckett? WHIR

CC owner says he might be available. *UPDATE* he says beckett is also avaialable. he also has halladay and billingsley but says they are not on the block. i need an ace on my staff. first q - is CC the guy that guy that can help my pitching? 2nd q - what should i start w/ in negotiating? he says he needs a rp and a hitter. our rosters are below:

Yes get CC. I'd start with Matt Holliday and Downs. Be sure to pick up John Grabow now that Capps is prob headed to the DL.

If the Holliday trade doesn't work, then trade Carlos Lee, and put Holliday in the OF. His bat is finally coming around.

I definitely would go with Holliday and a reliever. Not sure Downs would entice him enough though. You might have to part with Fransisco or Bell. CC is definitely the better option over Beckett though.

what about offering agon and a reliever? i figure that i can then move votto to 1st and plug someone else(holliday or jeter) into the util spot. if i deal holliday, i'll be stuck in of when manny comes back unless the doyers trade pierre.

A-gon would be enough for CC by himself. IMO I wouldn't give A-gon to get CC.

Beckett is even in the same class as CC in regards to fantasy...
