Okay, 10 team 6x6 (5x5+OPS+L) league. Up to 5 keepers can be kept by sacrificing a draft pick 2 rounds higher than originally drafted. This means every 1st and 2nd round pick in the previous draft is unkeeperable.
Right now the roster looks like:
C-Matt Wieters
C-Ramon Hernandez
1B-Ryan Howard
2B-Robinson Cano
3B-Alex Rodriguez
SS-Stephen Drew
CI-Prince Fielder
MI-
OF-Alfonso Soriano
OF-Nelson Cruz
OF-Justin Upton
OF-Alex Rios
OF-Juan Pierre
Util-Chris Young
B-Mat Gamel
DL-Rickie Weeks
SP-Jake Peavy
SP-Cole Hamels
SP-Javier Vazquez
SP-Wandy Rodriguez
RP-Joe Nathan
RP-George Sherrill
RP-Joel Hanrahan
P-Max Scherzer
P-Roy Oswalt
B-Francisco Liriano
DL-Justin Duchscherer
The trade offer is Nelson Cruz (12th), Juan Pierre (18th), Wandy Rodriguez (18th), Javier Vazquez (11th) for Hanley Ramirez. The 2010 pick that must be sacrificed to keeper is in parentheses. I'd be giving up two guys that look to have great value next year in Nelson Cruz and Wandy. Javier Vazquez could also merit some discussion next year as a keeper. I'd also be losing at least 350-375 ks in Vazquez and Wandy but I have some good k guys so I'd probably stay in the top tier in k's. If I pulled the trigger, I'd still have Wieters for a 9th, Justin Upton for a 10th, Rickie Weeks for a 16th, Scherzer for a 13th, and Gamel for a 18th next year.
If I make the trade I'd have:
C: Matt Wieters
C: Ramon Hernandez
1B: Ryan Howard
2B: Robinson Cano
3B: Alex Rodriguez
SS: Hanley Ramirez
CI: Prince Fielder
MI: Stephen Drew
OF: Alfonso Soriano
OF: Justin Upton
OF: Alex Rios
OF: Chris Young
OF: Colby Rasmus/Randy Winn/Jose Guillen (off free agents)
Util: Nick Johnson (off free agents)
B: Mat Gamel
SP: Jake Peavy
SP: Cole Hamels
SP: Francisco Liriano
SP: Max Scherzer
RP: Joe Nathan
RP: George Sherrill
RP: Joel Hanrahan
P: Roy Oswalt
P: Phil Hughes/J.A. Happ (off free agents)
B: Ricky Nolasco (off free agents)
Sorry so long but good deal or no?
