What can I get from this team...

Postby Galileo » Tue May 26, 2009 10:57 pm

My greatest needs are starting pitching and either 1B or 3B. This other owner would be interested in Pedroia or Hill. He is typically a pretty frugal trade partner. What kind of fair deal can get from him in exchange for one of these 2B?

C I Rodriguez
1B R Howard
2B F Lopez
3B M Lowell
SS J Peralta
OF C Beltran
OF Jason Bay
OF M Kemp
DH J Votto

Bench
A Ramirez
I Stewart
R Ankiel

Pitchers
A Wainwright
B Wilson
C Qualls
D Haren
J Maine
M Garza
M Scherzer
B Lidge
B Myers
G Meche
R Wolf
U Jimenez

My lineup, if it helps...
C- Suzuki
1B - K. Morales
2B - Hill
SS - Zobrist
3B - Blalock
OF - Granderson, Lee, J. Upton
DH - Pedroia
Bench - Guerrero, Wieters, Delgado, J. Reyes, Cantu

Pitching (start 7)
SP - Beckett, Cain, Lackey, Volquez, Wakefield, De La Rosa, Ohlendorf
RP - Bell, Broxton, Rodney
C- Santana
1B - Huff
2B - Wigginton
3B - Longoria
SS - Tulowitzki
OF - Posednik
OF - Suzuki
OF - J. Upton
DH - Lind
Bench: C. Pena, Morneau, Prado, Bay, Barmes
SP: Oswalt, Hammels, Nolasco, Weaver, Shields, Lackey, Vargas, Volquez
RP: Soriano, Perez

I have 4 trade offers out trying to make a 2-1 move. No bites.

Anyhow, I'd try and move one straight for Aramis. He is on the DL but that would be the best long term value. I view Hill Pedroia fairly equal.

Wow...that is risky. A-Ram is likely out a couple months and they haven't ruled out surgery. I am not sold on A-Ram as the answer, but I appreciate your input.
