Your pitching staff is very strong, and with Tommy Hanson on the verge of a call up, there is no doubt that you can use Santana as trade bait. I like the deal for you, however, my only main concern is that when Reyes returns, it seems as if you're going to have an abundance of talent on your bench. Even if you were to put Tejada at utility, I would think that you would then bench Konerko or Lee to go along with Thome. Just something to keep in mind, but for the short term, I actually like the move. I do think that Santana will be fine this year, however, your SP is clearly one of your assets in my mind.

maybe I will offer RJ first and see if he bites.... as an Angel fan, I am concerned about Santana- he had a great year last year with increased velocity and got his multi-year contract - then, after a year of throwing 97MPH, he comes into camp with an injury - all this this to go along with being in a steroid era and being a mediocre pitcher prior to last year makes me nervous - I know a lot of people will say he matured and came into his own last year, but I definitely have my concerns about him not being fully healed but we will see what happens - I hope you guys prove me wrong

Or what if you could convince him to add an additional player to improve another area on your team?

Can you help me since I helped you twice :-D viewtopic.php?f=26&t=387069 Thanks!
