Postby wyld stallions » Tue May 26, 2009 5:04 pm

The following guys are available on the wire.

Nolasco, Aadrsma, Valverde, De La Rosa. I have also been offered Qualls for Harang (who I think is my worst SP). Whould you pick any of these guys up or stay put.

12 team, h2h, 3 man keeper

Scoring:
H, 2, 3, hr, R, RBi, BB, Ave. OBP, SB, SO, E
W, L, CG, SHO, SO, BB, HR, ERA, WHIP, SV, BSV (32 inn. min./week)

My team:
C: B Molina
1st: Teixeira, Votto
2nd: Hill
3rd: Wright, ARod, Reynolds
SS: JJ Hardy, Scutaro (2nd,3rd,SS)
OF: Bay, Hart, Kemp, Dye
SP: Hamel, Haren, Vazquez, Harang, Cueto, Romero, Webb (DL)
RP: Francisco, Bell

If you have some patience I would look at picking up Nolasco. Not sure who I would drop though.

I definitely would not trade Harang for Qualls - I don't think your SP is strong enough to make that deal, even if you think that Harang is the worst of your starters. Plus, to be honest with you, unless you moved Harang and then added another SP, you might even have difficulty meeting your minimum inning requirements with only 5 healthy starters. If you have a DL spot opened, I would certainly add Jose Valvderde. He still seems like a few weeks away from coming back, but he would be a welcome addition to your team when he's healthy. I like your team's offense a lot - and if you're looking to make a deal to enhance your pitching, look no further than 3B. Trade Mark Reynolds! I'm sure you don't have much of a need for him with both Wright and ARod.

Harang IS NOT your worst pitcher. Your worst pitcher is Romero. With that being said, I'd drop him for Aardsma and start racking up saves.

I would say stand pat. And don't give up Harang for Qualls either, Good starters are more valuable than decent closers.

help with mine?

I think you really need to look to make a trade or two to free up some space on your roster. Try to make a 2-for-1 or 3-for-2 trade with someone and then go pick up one or two of those guys. As it stands now, I wouldn't drop anyone you have for anyone on the wire, but those guys should be on a roster.

Ok, well there is alot of mixed reviews. I am going to try to trade Reynolds and Votto for some Pitching. I may offer Reynolds for Lester or someone in that middle tier.

They guy who offered me Qualls for Harang, is now offering me Soria for Harang. Should I still not accept. I know he is hurt, but should be back next week.

Also, we only have 1 DL spot so I do not have room to stash anyone else but Webb (who I got for Danks straight up).

Let me know what you think
