Postby LegacySD » Tue May 26, 2009 2:04 pm

I'm 9th out of 12th in my league and its starting to bother me. What recommendations would you suggest to shake up my team and get me more wins.

It's a head to head league and these are the stat categories.

3B - David Wright
SS - Miguel Tejada
OF - Carl Crawford
OF - Alfonso Soriano
OF - Álex Ríos
Util - Juan Pierre
BN - Mark Reynolds
BN - Jack Cust
BN - Willy Taveras
DL - Vladimir Guerrero

Pitching

SP - Johan Santana
SP - Brett Myers
RP - Clay Condrey
RP - Mike González
P - Adam Wainwright
P - Tim Wakefield
P - Francisco Liriano
BN - Chad Billingsley
BN - Mariano Rivera

I think you should have SB locked up. I'd try and move Taveras (he's not good for anything but SB really and that's not happening this yr very much) and sell Wakefield high before is ERA blows up.

You've got too much speed on your team, I bet you're losing in the power categories. I'd trade one of Crawford or Soriano for a major power-bat, I don't think you're gonna get the old Vlad back either.

I'd also drop Mark Reynolds, he is not going to make a contribution this year and I'm betting you can probably snag him off waivers if he ever returns back. Get yourself a different bat that can help you out.
