Late scratch because of 'flu, according to Yahoo. He pinch hit but flied out to deep with the bases loaded.

wow, they almost blew it again. is this Hinch guy looking to be named moron manager of the year? why did he send scherzer back out for the 8th? he was well over 100 pitches and obviously didn't have his best stuff anymore.

Back to back 10k games for Maxy pad. (not to mention 0 walks today.) I understand he was facing a terrible San Diego lineup without A-gon, but the guy just looked filthy.
