Wandy Rodriguez.....am I missing something?

How does he have no earned runs at all from today's game?!? Everywhere I check, I dont see an errors that would make them unearned. whats the deal?

I was wondering the same thing. It sucks, as the guy I'm playing this week has him!

didn't see the game, but from my experience, sometimes it's due to a dropped foul ball or something. anybody know?

The first batter he faced reached on an infield single. (Taveras) It was later changed to an error. So because he was the only one that scored before there were 2 outs, all 5 first inning runs were unearned. The other run he gave up should be earned IMO. The runner at first advanced to 3rd after an errant pickoff attempt went out of play. But the next 2 batters each singled so I'm not sure why they still scored it as an unearned run. I guess the scorer felt that the Hairston wouldn't have scored had he been at first. But since there were back to back hits, there was a much better chance he would have scored.

Thanx for clarification....thats so annoying though. The guy I am going up against this week had 8 unearned runs bewteen 2 pitchers yesterday between Wandy and Meche grrrrr

I saw he gave up all those runs and base runners I didn't' even double check the stats. Not a great start by any means, but not so bad now.

Well he still had the 3.00 WHIP over 4 innings, that still hurts a bit.
