AL only league, 10 teams, 30 man rosters, 6x6 roto with holds and BB included, keeper league(players have salaries, I can explain if I need to but it depends on where the player was drafted this year, the higher the pick the more he is worth, etc.) Can keep up to 5 players or keep none if you want to. I am currently getting my butt kicked in this league because I missed the draft this year so I am looking to upgrade and move up in the standings.
I was offered the following trade:
His:
Matt Holliday Felix Hernandez Jose Lopez Brian Bannister
for
My:
Shin Shoo Choo Bobby Jenks Ian Kinsler David Price
I am thinking no on this one but take a look and see what you think and see if you can think of any counters. I was thinking about countering with a different pitcher other than Price or a lesser OF than Choo or both. What do you guys think?
I don't really like this trade for you, although it's not overly unbalanced, maybe just a bit. I'd try to keep Price or Choo out of the deal or get him to upgrade one of the guys coming your way.....

I wouldn't make the trade. Although I think Holliday is a great buy low right now, Kinsler is a lot to give up right now. The deal breaker has to be the fact that you are giving up the best player- Kinsler (at least right now). Bannister has been nothing but mediocre, I think Jenks is much better than him. Yeah there's no way I'm making the trade
What if I added his Youk for my Figgins to the deal? Would that make it more interesting and worth taking? Or I could take Price and Bannister out of the deal or Jenks(which one do you think?).
I'd run away from this trade, fast. I don't have a ton of faith in the guys that you would be getting, and youd be giving up guys that are all starting to roll into their primes. Price could even be on par with Felix in the upcoming years. I'd stay put.
Holliday's value will go up a lot after this season when he can go to NY or Boston, but Kinsler is just too good at too deep of a position. I'm not a big Felix fan so I wouldn't do this deal. Downgrade your Choo to Kapler and his Felix to Jackson and it would be a better deal for you.
