After not starting, he came in off the bench and went 2-2 with a RBI. Still wish he was dead though. He's officially got one week to change my mind before I cut him like a wrist at a Morrissey concert.

anyone think he is a perfect buy low candidate right now? i have tulowitzki starting for me everyday and he's been even more frustrating than furcal has been. i want to try and get speed out the SS position as well. anyone think furcal will rebound or do you really think this is the end of his career...keep in mind he is only 31, the same age as jimmy rollins, so he's not exactly a dinosaur.

the red flag is the back... all this rest is because of the back which he had surgery on. it scares me.

I was so close to droping him and then he starts getting a few hits. I think ok he is coming out of it and then he takes a day or 2 off. Don't know if I can take it.

OK, I have Furcal and have been benching him since I picked up Asdrubal Cabrera. Now Cabrera is down and not sure what is going on with him. Any suggestions on a backup SS? I was thinking a utility player that is eligible for 2nd, SS, and 3rd.

Here are guys that are available:
Maicer Izturis
Brendan Harris
Matt Tolbert
Jeff Keppinger
Augie Ojeda

Im going to go with Izturis and then number two would be harris. Both are in good offenses...Mauer will help Harris' value. good luck ;-D

It doesn't matter whether or not he is or isn't out of it. He is still going to sit every 4 or 5 days which is killer for his fantasy owners as well as his overall rhythm to the season. Not to mention he is coming off back surgery. :-t
