He looked terrible tonight. Haven't seen any of his other starts. I do know he's still a big injury risk. Not sure how stable the elbow is. But he got absolutely tatooed by one of the worst hitting teams in the league.

I got lucky and picked him up last year in April..But I knew once the season ended I was not gonna draft him next year..

That is not true at all.. He definitely has the stuff to repeat those numbers and has always had the talent..He is either clearly not healthy or has not built up the arm strength yet.. I think he is not healthy and trying to pitch through it.. He was throwing in the low 90s and his breaking pitches did not have nearly the bite on them that they had last year..

It's just Ervin's second start. I'd be more concerned once a few more starts are under his belt.

Man, I want to be as optimistic as anyone, but 4 IP, 7 hits, 6 ER, 1 K...against the Mariners? I'm not cutting bait yet, but....man, this is tough. Anyone have a ray of optimism? I don't have a roster spot to hang on to this guy for a month while he "finds himself"...
