My Pitching is Killing Me...

I'm in third place overall, with the top scoring offense but only the 8th best pitching.

With Manny coming back eventually, I can afford to move a hitter for a starting pitcher.

Which hitter would you look to move, and what pitchers would you target?

It is tough because you expect a number of your pitchers to perform better. I would look for someone light at first base and offer berkman for a consistent, Derek Lowe type pitcher. Not the best on their team; but someone that routinely performs.

Agree. I say dangle Berkman or Adam Jones and get a reliable veteran starter. Derek Lowe, Chris Carpenter, Josh Beckett, etc.

Deal Pedroia. Look at the waiver wire, and I bet that you can find someone to replace what he has given you so far. Yeah, reigning MVP and all, but his numbers werent that great. THe MVP was a media-driven one. And I feel that he overachieved a little to attain those numbers.

That said, he is a sexy name, and someone will part with a real nice pitcher for him.
