As of yesterday, there were 27 right fielders that had a higher VORP than Frenchy. Continuing to let him start is plainly a bad idea.

I don't know about released but he shouldn't be starting. But then again which Braves OF should be starting for a MLB team?

Yeah Frenchy sucks. Like below replacement level sucks. The only RF that's been worse is Giles. He hasn't even been good defensively. Playing a guy simply because he showed some defensive promise several years ago is a bad idea. He's basically just stealing Atlanta's money at this point.

Yeah, I've seen Frenchy play plenty of times through Mets games and really, I've never been impressed by his defense, it's just that he can throw a baseball 500 feet with pinpoint accuracy, nothing about taking correct routes to catch a ball or anything like that.

I don't understand how you don't get what he's saying.
Francoeur has been arbitration eligible for the first time and is being paid 3.3 mil for the garbage numbers he is producing, do you want him to go to the next phase next year and get paid $6 mil for this? Surely not.

I don't think what you are seeing in Francouer and what he actually is are the same thing.
