Barajas slid into Roberts at second early in the game. Roberts tried to play through it but eventually came out. They're calling it a shin contusion... probably no big deal.

The Jays were fooling themselves if they thought all the hot streaks would keep up. This is the team that everyone should have been expecting.

Our luck has changed. I just hope we can beat Tampa this year so I don't have to wear another one of those sigs.

An unlucky team that hasn't gotten any hits with RISP for a week?

Anyway, the Jays were a better team than the Mets last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were better than them again. Not that I expect them to make the playoffs, but they should still finish in the mid 80s with wins in the toughest division in baseball. Nothing to be ashamed of, but they did have a real opportunity to do something before this swoon occurred.
