Which way is "the other way" for a batter to hit the ball?

Which way is pulling it?

The other way for a lefty is left field and right field for a righty. Reverse for pulling.

I thought so. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Would it be correct that it is easier or more common to pull than to go the other way?

Also, on a possibly related note, what is meant by an "inside-out swing" of the bat?

It is more common to pull the ball. "inside-out" is going oppo on an inside pitch that is normally pulled. Slap hitter's go the other way and inside-out a lot.
