Not to mention that Johnson is way too injury-prone for the Sox to even consider trading for him I think. He's a solid player when healthy, but how often is he really healthy (besides right now)?? That being said, Delcarmen would definitely be the closer if he were to be traded to the Nats. He's got closer's stuff, but there's no way he'll ever be a closer in Boston with Papelbon already there and Daniel Bard up and waiting in the wings in case something happens to Pap (like him signing for big money elsewhere). MDC is a very good relief pitcher, just a little wild sometimes but he's at the very least an 8th inning setup guy/possible closer on most other teams.
