6 Keepers = 3 bats and 2 arms + a player under the birthdate of '86 (bat or arm)
I know that this is still early in the season but I have come to realize that with the exception of Garza, 3 out of my top 4 starting pitchers are all coming off major surgeries. (Liriano, Bedard, and Baker)
Yikes! I would have been in major trouble if I didn't pull off Liriano for Kazmir deal last week but should I start picking up young arms to decide at the end of the season who to keep? I was thinking the likes of adding Phil Hughes and Clay Buchholz. I already have Jordan Zimmermann and Derek Holland but I was thinking of 3 core future aces to chose from in moving forward. Also, I do have a little problem of 3 players on the DL but Ludwick is supposed to activated this friday so that doesn't really factor anything. I should of realized the risk of relying on dead arms but should I start a youth movement? By no means I am scrapping this seasonThanks for all who reply
