My Wells/Lilly For His Pence/Danks? WHIR?

10 team roto league. My weakest category, by far, is batting avg. With that in mind thoughts on this trade? Good move? Bad move?

PS) Should I still make the trade if he asks for Carpenter instead of Lilly?

I don't like the deal. Lilly is underrated and should be good for 15-18 wins, a 4.00ish ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and somewhere around 180 Ks. That makes him a top 20 SP and a safe bet. He's not as flashy as some, but I'd take him over Danks.

As for Wells, I think he'll come around. Cito is notoriously stubborn about changing his lineup, which means Wells will get every opportunity to succeed in the cleanup spot. I actually see him as a good buy low candidate because of his current struggles. I don't think Pence is enough of an upgrade to make this move.

Yeah I wouldn't do that deal Lilly is underrated and I think your downgrading on both ends.

I think the deal is pretty even and I could go either way. But, I'd agree with the others and say Lilly is underrated. I've never been all that impressed with Wells, so he's bleh to me; sometimes he looks like a great hitter and other times he looks like crap. Balancing it out...I'd turn it down, but like I said, I could go the other way too. If you have a particular liking of Pence or Danks, I say go for it.
