They are pretty similar players. I'm going to include one in a trade offer with Chris Davis to try and get A-rod, so I'm wondering who is best for me to keep in the long run??
My other OF: Hamilton, Granderson, Cruz, Adam Jones
Would Chris Davis plus Justin Upton be fair for A-rod? I like Davis' potential, but I'd like to move Upton while he's hot if possible.
Either way, I don't think Davis + Upton/Pence will be enough for ARod. But if you had to offer one, I think Upton has a better chance of pulling ARod given the name recognition.
I think that both of those guys for Zimmerman definitely has a shot. If the guy is serious he'll know how good Pence is. Otherwise Id try and package Upton with Davis for Zimmerman. Either Upton or Pence though is fine to keep, they'll prolly be a wash. I'm looking for another opinion on mine. viewtopic.php?t=386604
I would shoot for Arod first and give it a try. What do you have to lose if the owner says no right. Then definately go for Zimmerman if Arod doesn't work out.
I personally would trade Upton just because although Upton is out-performing Pence right now, Pence has the better history and is capable of doing very good things. (Better potentiel) Also, Upton is the hot hand right now thus giving the other owner something to contemplate and a better choice to desire. Either way though is fine because when the seasons over their numbers will almost be even (that is if Upton continues this pace and/or Pence breaks out)
I think you will have much better luck with zimmerman because Arod will be wayyy to pricey and I would use Upton because his value is really high right now where as Pence's is just normal. Thanks for the help.
