This trade looks good. With Morneau, Tex, and AGon you have three elite 1B. Meanwhile, ARam could take a while to get back to form so trading one of those first basemen for a third basemen you could use in the meantime is logical.

Based on value the trade is close and based on relative positions it makes sense for your team. I'd do it. ;-D

I was thinking the same way I needed some input. Tex should hit 40 bombs this year.

I'd do it definately. Wright is more of a 5 tool guy but should hit close to the same power #s too

Tex will almost for sure end the season with better power numbers but Wright gives you great all-around production (he'll start hitting HRs again). The only way I wouldn't do this trade is if you have complete confidence that ARam will make it back to full strength in short order. And I don't see how you could be sure of something like that at this point.
