Drop Laporta or Morrow and grab Cuddyer?

Postby kev8821 » Sat May 23, 2009 11:41 am

Cuddyer is hot and I could use his bat. Would you drop Laporta or Morrow? I haven't been too keen on closers since we have a blown save category. So i dont need to roll with 3 RP's. Guys like Sherrill and Rodney are on waivers. Laporta hasn't given me much of anything either and is not playing everyday.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I could drop Morrow for Rodney. Should I drop Laporta for Cuddyer?

Both of those moves look good to me. In a non-keeper league Laporta doesn't need to be owned. As it looks like it's going to take him some time to adjust to major league pitching. Dropping him for a red hot Cuddyer would give you a big boost.

Also, I like Morrow's potential, but he's been so bad all year it doesn't make sense to wait for him to turn it around any longer. In a ten team league I'd be surprised if anyone picked him up after you drop him. So, you might as well drop him for someone like Rodney who you could actually use.
