Ells/Hill for Chipper/Cantu? No Brainer right? WHIR!!!

Postby WhipperSnappers44 » Sat May 23, 2009 8:33 am

Hey all.....I think this is a no brainer but just wanted to check and make sure that I didn't hit accept and have it be stupid! Thanks and WHIR!!!

Standard Yahoo 12 man Roto league (I am currently 6th place and the other guy is in 9th place)

The offer of my Ellsbury/Hill for his Cantu/Chipper was just proposed.....so should I hit accept or not? Thanks and I WHIR!!!

I figure that I never play Ellsbury and I have three 2B guys (Hill, Cano, Phillips) so I desperately need to trade 1.

I wanted a 3B guy also so I could play Inge at Catcher and sit Molina (since he is sucking) and play a new guy at 3B.

My Team: B.Molina, J.Morneau, B.Phillips, B.Inge, M.Young, C.Granderson, S.Victorino, G.Sizemore, R.Cano, A.Hill, BJ Upton, Ells
Pitchers: Joba, E.Santana, C.Qualls, M.Lindstrom, K.Slowely, D.Aardsma, Z.Dike, E.Jackson, A.Harrang, C.Zambrano

His Team:
J.Baker, L.Berkman, F.Lopez, R.Zimmerman, H.Ramirez, M.Cameron, C.Lee, J.Pierre, D.Lee, Chipper, N.Morgan, J.Cantu, M.Lowell, J.Posada
Pitchers: F.Liriano, C.Hamels, M.Gonzalez, K.Gregg, C.Young, L.Hawkins, J.Vasquez

Alos, who should I drop in oreder to activate Zambrano from the DL???

Thanks again and WHIR!!!

I wouldn't really want to give up Ellsbury, but given the makeup of your roster, it does make sense. I wouldn't say it's a "no brainer", but it's not a bad deal given what you can then shift around. As long as you're fine with Chipper missing some games here and there, it's a decent deal.

Help w/mine?
