Maybin, who's gone 9-for-24 since being sent down to Triple-A, could be recalled before Friday's game against the Rays, the Marlins web site reports.
Recommendation: The team's in a bit of a center field crunch -- Cody Ross is dealing with migraines, Alfredo Amezaga is hurt and both Alejandro De Aza and Bret Carroll have been optioned to the minors in the last 10 days and can't be called back up without someone going on the DL. Florida would probably like Maybin to spend more time at Triple-A but its hand could be forced here.

I drafted and dropped him in every league. Wonder if he's going to keep himself up this go around.

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems like nobody really knows either. I've got him on my bench and I'm about ready to drop him. But there's something telling me not to.

Since Friday has come and gone I think it's safe to say Maybin is staying in AAA for now.
